Classic Europe Trio — London, Paris & Rome in 12 Days

Three capitals, one seamless trip, transatlantic flights included

United States → United Kingdom, France, Italy12 days, 11 nights228 travellersEasy4.8 (402 reviews)

About this trip

Twelve days across Europe's three most-visited capitals — Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London, the Eiffel Tower and Versailles, the Colosseum and the Vatican — connected by Eurostar and a short intra-Europe flight, with transatlantic airfare and 4-star hotels included.

This is the trip most Americans mean when they say they want to see Europe, built so that no day is wasted. You fly overnight into London, take the Eurostar under the Channel to Paris, and fly Paris to Rome so you gain a full day of sightseeing instead of losing it on a train. Four nights in London, four in Paris and three in Rome give you time to see the headline sights properly and still have free afternoons. Every major attraction is pre-booked with reserved entry — in July that alone saves eight to ten hours of queueing across the trip. An American-friendly tour director travels with you throughout, and hotels are chosen for central location rather than the cheap airport-adjacent properties that fill many packaged tours.

Visas and practical information

Visa requirements

US passport holders need no visa. From 2026 you need a UK ETA (about $13) for the London portion and an ETIAS authorization (about $22) for France and Italy. Both are online applications taking minutes; our team sends you the direct government links and reminders — never use a paid third-party site.

Allow around 7 days for processing — book with that in mind.

What to pack

  • A universal adapter covering UK Type G and European Type C/E
  • Comfortable walking shoes already broken in — this is a 12,000-step-a-day trip
  • Shoulders and knees covered for the Vatican; a scarf works
  • A crossbody bag with a zip: pickpocketing is the one real risk in all three cities
  • A refillable water bottle — Rome's street fountains are free and excellent

Frequently asked questions

Which US cities can I depart from?

JFK, Newark, Chicago O'Hare, Boston, Washington Dulles and Atlanta are included at the listed price. Other gateways are quoted on request and usually add $150–450 per person.

Are flights really included?

Yes — round-trip transatlantic airfare, the Eurostar and the Paris–Rome flight are all in the price. The only travel not included is your domestic connection to the gateway airport.

How much walking is there?

Around 12,000 steps a day. Every city portion has free afternoons, so you can pace yourself. Tell us at booking if anyone in your party has mobility limits and we will plan alternatives.

Is this good for a first trip to Europe?

It is the trip we recommend most often for first-timers: the three most iconic capitals, everything pre-booked, and a tour director handling logistics so you never have to work out a metro ticket machine in a language you don't read.

Can we extend the trip?

Yes. Popular add-ons are three nights in Venice or Florence before the Rome flight home, or four nights in Istanbul. Ask for an extension quote when you inquire.
