It depends entirely on who is travelling. A fit adult manages 1,200m each way five times a day without much thought. An elderly parent or a family with small children will not, and after two days they simply stop going. If anyone in your group has limited mobility, book within roughly 700m or accept a hotel with a genuine, frequent shuttle — and ask us how often it actually runs, because that varies enormously between properties.

Hotel search results on this page are per room per night, including taxes. Inside our Umrah and tour packages the price is quoted per person, based on the room sharing you choose — quad, triple, double or single. That is the standard way pilgrimage and tour pricing works and it is why the two numbers look so different.

Yes, and it is part of the normal booking conversation rather than a special request. We look for properties within walking distance of a mosque, with halal options nearby, and where possible with alcohol-free floors or rooms without a minibar. Your tour manager also carries a vetted restaurant list for each city.

Many of the rates on this page are free-cancellation and pay-at-property, which is marked on each result. Package hotels are covered by the package deposit and balance schedule instead — for Umrah that is normally a deposit at booking with the balance due before visa submission.
