Why book this route with us

Europe is on your doorstep, and getting there is the easy part. What takes the time is stitching together flights, trains, hotels, museum tickets and transfers so that ten days actually feel like ten days rather than four days of travelling and six days of queueing. That is what these packages do. Every itinerary below is built around fast rail or short direct flights, hotels inside the historic centre, and reserved entry to the sights that sell out. All departures include a tour manager who travels with you from the UK, halal and vegetarian meal options as standard, and full Schengen visa support for UK residents on non-EU passports.

  • Fast rail, not long coach days

Eurostar, Frecciarossa, AVE and ICE connect our itineraries city centre to city centre. You spend your days in the cities, not on a motorway.

  • Reserved entry to everything that queues

Colosseum, Vatican, Eiffel Tower, Anne Frank House, Alhambra. In July these tickets alone save eight to ten hours per trip.

  • Schengen visa desk in London and Madrid

UK residents travelling on Pakistani, Indian or other non-EU passports get their full visa file prepared and their VFS appointment booked by our team.

  • Halal and vegetarian as standard

Every included group dinner has halal and vegetarian menus, and your tour manager carries a vetted restaurant list for each city.

UK → Europe — common questions

Do I need a visa to travel from the UK to Europe?

British passport holders do not need a Schengen visa for short stays, but from 2026 an ETIAS travel authorisation (€20, valid three years) is required. UK residents on non-EU passports need a Schengen visa — our visa desk prepares the whole application at no extra charge.

Can I depart from outside London?

Yes. Most tours include a domestic rail connection to London or a direct flight from Manchester or Birmingham. On the Comfort and Premium tiers this is included at no extra cost.

What is the best time of year to go?

April, May, September and October give the best combination of weather, prices and crowd levels. July and August are hottest, busiest and most expensive; November to March is the cheapest and, for Christmas markets and Alpine snow, arguably the most atmospheric.

How far ahead should I book?

Three to five months for summer travel, six weeks for shoulder season. Alhambra and Anne Frank House tickets are the binding constraint on some itineraries — earlier is always better.
